Theosophy
Theosophy
is a philosophical movement that has been around
since the time of ancient Greece. A resurgence of
Theosophy in 1875 led to its modern era. It centers
around a synthesis of Wisdom traditions from both
East and West and attempts to highlight and practice
the best of all traditions. The Theosophical approach
is quite academic and is a good source of clear
material for those who wish to explore the metaphysical
knowledge of consciousness and spiritual enlightenment
on a deeper level. Theosophical wisdom backs up
the Everyday Philosophy approach with modern depth
and sophistication, whereas the metaphysics of the
more ancient traditions is not always appropriate
and relatable to modern Western minds. The extensive
Theosophical works of A. A. Bailey, who worked in
conjunction with the Master D.K., are used here
as the resource material and provide a solid foundation
for the Wisdom Philosophy School.

Theosophical
Works |
"Conversations
with God" Neil Donald Walsh: The works
of Alice A. Bailey have been my main teaching in
esoteric spirituality and psychology. However, it
has been hard for me to share these works directly
to others in my groups and courses due to their
deep scientific nature and challenging concepts.
My books have been an attempt to transfer these
truths into pratical solutions to everyday suffering.
Because my books (Being Human & Mastering Life)
have been focused around the issue of personal suffering,
I have not had a chance to write about the bigger
picture. The "Conversations with God"
books cover both perspectives beautifully in a style
that reflects my own approach.
These
thought provoking and challenging books perhaps
best reflect what the School of Wisdom Philosophy
is attempting to teach. They are a good place to
start due to the simple, contemporary and straightforward
way they are written, as well as their ability to
open the mind to new realities. To many people,
what these books contain reflect what they have
intuitively felt but were not game to say. They
also reflect what I have been writing in my own
books, often with uncanny similarity. They have
helped me have more confidence in my own truth.
